Every Cruzzer vehicle sold by Cruzzer UK Ltd is covered by a manufacturer's warranty and supported by our own UK service centre in Reading. This page explains what is covered, for how long, and how to make a claim. The warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and does not replace them.

The warranty period runs from the date of delivery or collection shown on your invoice. It applies to vehicles bought new from Cruzzer UK Ltd or an authorised UK reseller. Please keep your invoice or order confirmation; it is your proof of purchase.

What is covered

• Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
• Faults in the motor, controller, display, lights, wiring and the supplied charger.
• Structural defects in the frame, fork, stem or folding mechanism arising from normal use.
• Battery cells or battery management system failing within 6 months. Gradual loss of capacity through normal use and charge cycles is not a defect.

What is not covered

• Consumables and normal wear: tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, grips, bulbs, fuses, bearings and cosmetic marks.
• Damage from misuse or accidents: drops, collisions, jumps, stunt riding, racing, or exceeding the stated maximum rider weight.
• Water ingress: riding through deep water, pressure-washing, or storing the vehicle in damp conditions.
• Unauthorised repair or modification, including firmware changes, speed unlocking, or the use of non-original chargers, batteries or parts.
• Damage caused by not following the user manual, including incorrect charging or storage of a discharged battery.
• Vehicles with removed or defaced serial numbers.

How to make a claim

1. Contact us. Email [email protected] with your order number, model, serial number, a description of the fault and, where possible, photos or a short video. You can also call +44 7402 311244, Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00.
2. Remote diagnosis. Many faults can be identified from your description. Where a part such as a charger, display or controller is at fault, we will often send a replacement with fitting instructions free of charge.
3. Returning the vehicle or part. If inspection is needed, we issue a returns reference and instructions. Send the part or the complete vehicle to our warehouse in Reading, Berkshire, or drop it off by appointment. For confirmed warranty faults we cover the cost of return shipping or arrange collection.
4. Diagnosis within 5 working days of receipt. We tell you the outcome: a warranty repair at no cost, or, if the fault is not covered, a clear quotation. No chargeable work is carried out without your approval.
5. Repair and return. Warranty repairs are returned to you free of charge. If a vehicle cannot be repaired, we replace it with the same or an equivalent model, or refund in line with your statutory rights.

Out-of-warranty service

We continue to look after Cruzzer vehicles once the warranty has ended. Our Reading service centre carries batteries, tyres, controllers, brake parts and other spares, and we quote fixed prices for repairs before we start. Email [email protected] for a quotation.

Your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a fault was present when the vehicle was delivered, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund whether or not the warranty applies: within 30 days of delivery you can reject faulty goods for a full refund, and for six months from delivery a fault is presumed to have been present at delivery unless we can show otherwise. Nothing in this warranty limits those rights.

Important: UK road use

Privately owned e-scooters may not currently be ridden on public roads, cycle lanes or pavements in Great Britain and are sold for use on private land with the landowner's permission. E-bikes above the EAPC limits and all mopeds and motorbikes require registration, insurance, tax and an appropriate licence for road use. The warranty covers the vehicle itself; buyers remain responsible for complying with the law.
